Running while thinking about running

So I have just been to the gym…ok so that’s not running outside but hopefully I’ll do that at the weekend.

I want to compare times over distances. I am guessing it will be slower outside but here’s todays run:

3 miles in 21 minutes 45 seconds; followed by 1/2 mile cooldown in 7 minutes. That was pretty much as fast as I could go, running at up to 9 miles an hour and never below 8.

It was a bit odd running, and thinking about running. My biggest question is what to do with my key!
