Ouch! – but that’s not a bad thing right?

They say pride comes before a fall, I see this more as a little stumble.

So today I ache…quite a lot! Not surprising considering I never run over 2 miles on a treadmill and then just do nearly 5 miles at the same pace up and down hills. A few aches are to be expected. What I do know from working out in the gym is that aching means you have pushed yourself further than ‘normal’.

So, no I am not some hugely fit muscle bound, lithe athlete, just an ordinary person trying to remain fit and healthy, mind and body.

So today I’ll not be doing more than a short jog and possibly start looking around at kit and other blogs for advice on how to train, rather than just doing random runs.
